John: Codee and I are such good friends that I can call Codie by any form of his name that I can think of, so long as Coadeiy's wife says it's ok for me to call Cowdie whatever I want to call Kowdi.

Lins: Would you expect any less from me??? Cody you may want to re-evaluate your friendship with John based on the attention he places on your name and it's spelling....mawhahahaha back!

Welcome back, Cody!

Hello, all!

It has been a long time since I've blogged or anything, so I figured that now would be a good time to pick it up again, especially since there are several news items:

Baxter passed away on Christmas Day. Brit and I were and are very sad. We considered adopting another bassat hound named Ruger and we have been offered two other puppies, but we are waiting until we figure out where we are going to live next.
Cornerstone Church decided to bring me on two days a week to work with the college students and 20-somethings. It was pretty exciting news and a shock for me. My brother is okay with it (I work for him when I'm not doing The Well).

Overall, life is going well.

Someone pointed out a verse to me several weeks ago that has, for today at least, become my personal theme. It is Ecclesiates 4:13: "Better a poor but wise youth than an old but foolish king who no longer knows how to take warning." I'm definitely poor, no worries there. I'm not so sure I'm wise. So this verse is my prayer, that I would be willing to follow God in everything because that is where wisdom originates. He is the source and He is worth it all.
